On Saturday, 9/10/2011 Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion Summer Love Tour 2011 stops in Chattanooga as the cross-country tour takes the popular radio host and his pals from East to West Coast, Alaska to Texas and over a dozen other cities along the way.
Stops along the Summer Love Tour consist of evenings of passionate duets, hot jazz, Catchup, English Majors and Poesy and feature singer Sara Watkins, the Guy’s All-Star Shoe Band and sound effects wizard Fred Newman.
While these are not APHC broadcast shows, the tour includes many of the favorite Prairie Home Companion elements – Guy Noir Private Eye, the Cowboys Dusty and Lefty, and each evening will include all the latest news from Lake Wobegon.
