In August the River Gallery’s exhibiting artists reflect on simple aspects of life and nature.
Linda Stokes reflects the beauty of nature back to the viewer with her color photographs of water. Using both oil paint and pastels, Bill Suttles captures the serene and ever-changing landscape of his rural surroundings. Gary Young views nature in a new way. Moved by the rhythm, movement, and unity of nature, Mr. Young paints from life, often in the plein air form. An Opening Reception with the artists will be held on August 5 from 6:30pm-8:30pm. River Gallery is located in the Bluff View Art District, Downtown Chattanooga at 400 East Second Street.
